I've recently acquired a Nevo SL remote with no software and I'm finding it very difficult locating the software... it's not available for download anywhere and you need to have purchased from an authorised dealer to get any kind of support. Does anyone have a copy of NevoStudio they can provide access to? My remote is currently useless without it! Many thanks.
I have a copy of the software on disc which I might be able to copy for you -I'm not sure if it is copy protected, i'll need to check. When you load the software you need to register as a dealer, once done you can get access to the Nevo Studio Update 2.02. If you want then please let me know and if successful I will post you a copy of the disc if you want.

The nevo sl only works with nevo studio 2 or 2.02 - it does not work on Vista or windows 7 - see remotecentral.com forums - seems to be a problem as nevo don't support the sl with their newer software
Click to expand... As Mwomwell has already pointed out, it is Nevo Studio that will not run on Wndows 7 and not Nevo Studio Pro. Nevo Studio is required to program the NevoSL remote, whilst Nevo Studio Pro is required for the newer Nevo Q50 and S70 remotes.

if it worked for you can you help me? i was given the remote by a friend and have nevostudiopro on XP but it doesn`t recognise the SL. what is PM?
Given that the last two people on this thread I helped out regarding this have not even responded to me acknowledging l3 communications careers receipt of my communications or even a little thank you I am not feeling particularly inclined to provide any further complimentary assistance on this subject. The two previous posters that I helped out quite clearly only joined the forums to ask for this software and now that they have got what they wanted they have buggered off without so much as a quick "thanks". If you have purchased l3 communications careers a Nevo branded remote via non supported channels then my advice would be to seek an authorised dealer for the product and request a quotation for professional programming of it. This is a service I can of course provide myself, being a trained and authorised dealer for Nevo products, amongst others. Feel free to get in touch if you would like assistance in finding a local authorised l3 communications careers dealer to program this remote for you. Regards, Chris.

Click to expand... Unfortunately as the Q50 is a current model I am not in a position to provide any assistance in anything other than a professional capacity. The Nevo Studio Pro software which is required to program both the Q50 and S70 remote is intended to be available to authorised l3 communications careers installers of these products only and not the end users. I have helped out a few other forum member's with the programming of their Nevo remotes, speak to 'Aberdeen Al' if you want anyone to vouch for my work. Since HSTouch I am not using my Nevo anymore. Compared to a bunch of remotes Nevo is a great tool. Very user friendly., easy to program and to learn ir commands. HSTouch though has taken it to the next level for me. I only used the Nevo for remote ir control, never for multi zone media control. I have apple tv and airport express and airtunes to do that, since a few days with the "remote" app on an iPad. Using the iPad for HSTouch works great and I will probably never use the Nevo again, but still. I think it is a nice tool. For me it's going to be a backup device cockpit design for when HS is down. Lot of zwave devices are build in and will not be accessible. IPAD is also on my list I will also use the Nevo S70 as IR remote for the TV and view IPcamares on it.
It's a IP device..it must be possibile. great thing abou is that you have IP and Zwave in one device. I have added all my zwave devices with nice graphical icons (build in) All the zwave devices works fine without any HA server. next step is adding Homeseer devices.
All my zwave devices are added to the Nevo S70 Nevo is a secondary controller in my network. this means I can control all the devices also when Homeseer is not running. Also managed to send IP command's to Homeseer. All the Devices and events can now als controlled from the remote with IP commands. cockpit design for this part I'm using Tenserver cockpit design
