Tribute to the Air Force Helisaf "the sound of life in Afghanistan | By Land, Sea and Air
The Air Force will pay tribute Thursday to all military who have served antene tv in any rotation Helisaf detachment, antene tv deployed in Afghanistan during the last eight and a half years and whose mission ended last Saturday, antene tv with the final withdrawal of the helicopters.
It was the May 19, 2005 when the Super Puma AS322 HD-21-9 made the first flight of a journalistically known as the "air ambulances" or "sound of life" unit. Since then the three Super Puma choppers 48 Wing Air Force rescued 1,030-s and miltiares civilians with injuries of varying degrees and various antene tv nationalities in its nearly 1,900 outlets and 5910 hours of flight patient, according to data provided by the Air Force.
